Checking this item causes all numeric entry and results to be automatically displayed in the currently selected units. This allows direct calculation and display in any one of the desired units. This effects the display only. Internal calculations are always performed using the decimal representation of the number.
Selects the function of the decimal to units conversion button on the calculator. The function and label of this button will change to [>DMS] when Deg/min/sec is selected, [>MSF] when Min/sec is selected, and [>ftin] when Ft/in is selected. If Lock Units is enabled, the display is immediately converted from the old units to the new units. The Min/sec and Ft/in commands change to reflect the current frames per second and divisions per inch settings.
Frames Per Second
Submenu used to select the number of increments in a second when Min/sec mode is selected. Settings are provided for decimal seconds (actually 100 divisions per second), film (24 frames per second), PAL/SECAM (25), NTSC (30), and digital audio CD (75 frames per second).
Divisions Per Inch
Submenu used to select the number of divisions in an inch when Ft/in mode is selected. Settings are provided for decimal inches (actually 100 divisions per inch), 16ths, 32nds, and 64ths.
